IDEA Academy

Just returned from a 3 day workshop in Rome at IDEA Academy! It was a great experience, school, and opportunity to work with incredibly talented students and professionals. For anyone interested, be sure to check out their site, they have a great program/workshop series.

Hampton, Sorry to disturb you.

I have bought your book and I have been trying to follow your process (after seeing some images here).

I'm not sure if I am doing things wrong, or if I am missing something.

It just feels really confusing and not clear enough.

If you mind taking a look :

Thank you and sorry to disturb.

Those are looking good! It's the right idea and work flow, just keep at it. It takes a while to smooth things out a bit. Also, play around with adding the muscle shapes, this will help start to soften the construction and give the figure a more organic look :)

Thank you! Really! I cannot express how happy I am with a reply (and a really quick one). I'm not exaggerating when I say you're probably my favorite artist.

I'd love to meet you in person and take classes with you (unfortunately I don't have money to invest in a workshop of yours right now).

Thank you again and have a great week!
